UNISON South Lanarkshire Branch and UNISON Lanarkshire Health Branch have arranged for a fun packed day for members and their families at New Lanark.

New Lanark is a World Heritage Site and a key historical site in the labour movement with its association with Robert Owen, the co-operative movement, early years education and workplace health and safety). Click here for more details www.newlanark.org.

A fun day out for members, their colleagues and families at the World Heritage Site at New Lanark. Lots of activities and attractions.

• The world famous New Lanark Visitor Centre. Members get 25% discount on the price of entry

• The UNIZONE – find out all about your union and pick up your voucher for tea and cake in the café and enter the free raffle and enjoy Indian head and hand massage

• The kids UNIZONE with face painting, balloon sculpture, bouncy castle and bungee run

• ‘UNISON Walks’ – guided walks to the Falls of Clyde

• ‘UNISON Talks’ – the history of New Lanark and Robert Owen; Women in UNISON – how to change your workplace, your union and your life, and; Defending UNISON members in the future
